Vivace is a new non surgical Radiofrequency Needling machine available at Artiste Plastic Surgery in Sydney as part of Dr Jack Zoumaras Anti-ageing facial options.

About Vivace

Vivace is a non surgical Radiofrequency (RF) device and needling machine that can be used for collagenesis, reducing pores, black and white heads, scarring, acne and to minimise fine lines. It combines three processes and two technologies, Radiofrequency and Needling provide two interacting technologies and the use of fractionation with insulated and non insulated tips allows versatility in treating the face and neck.
Vivace can alsp be used for scars anywhere in the body.

How does Vivace work?

Vivace works by pulsations of Needles that penetrate the skin 0.5-4mm in depth and at 1-2Hz in oscillation. This ensures that the skin is needled and a pulse of Radiofrequency energy is delivered. The needles can be insulated or uninsulated. When insulated the tip is the only area that delivers the RF energy and all the energy is targeted at the deep layer of the skin (dermis). An uninsulated tip delivers energy to the epidermis and dermis but the enrgy is less at it is more evenly distributed. The diode can also be changed to a red or blue light. The red light is the most common setting for all treatment except for acne where the blue light is suitable.

How long does the treatment take?

The total treatment time for the face and neck is 60 minutes, which includes 10 minute history and examination, 20 minutes application of topical local anaesthetic gel and 30 minutes of actual RF needling.

Is it painful and is there any downtime?

The application of local anaesthetic gel ensures that there is no pain and the RF also causes significantly less bleeding compared to other needling methods. There is no downtime and you can return to work the same day and are encouraged to go out for thevening to show off your wonderful glowing skin

How many treatments do I need?

One treatment will result in luminosity of the skin and a natural firmness instantly. The collagenesis process will take 3 weeks to peak and it is advised to have 3 treatments in 1-2 months for a longer lasting effect.

What does Vivace treat?

Vivace can treat fine lines and wrinkles. It can be effective for scarring and acne. It gives immediate lumniosity to the skin and longer term it can tighten and firm the skin.
It therefore treats many skin conditoins and is a powerful non surgical tool.

How much does Vivace cost in Sydney?

Vivace costs $770 inclusive of GST per treatment for a one off treatment, Three or more treatment packages are available for a lower investment.
