Dr Jack Zoumaras is a qualified Plastic Surgeon FRACS (Plast), and will bring over 19 years of experience to your consultation, being one of only a few in Australia who are qualified in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and who has completed further subspecialty fellowships in Aesthetic surgery (Facial) in New York City and Paris.
Dr Jack Zoumaras will take a detailed history, perform a physical examination and then make a recommendation for the appropriate treatment individualised to you. Dr Jack Zoumaras will also cover all the relevant complications and alternative treatments.

Yes, your GP referral is required for a consultation. In accordance with the guidelines from Medical Board of Australia, all patients seeking cosmetic surgery will require a referral from a GP or other medical specialists. This referral will provide important medical information, such as patient history, existing comorbidities, and medications. A referral from a GP is therefore not a recommendation of a surgery or a cosmetic practitioner.
Dr Jack Zoumaras will spend approximately an hour with you to take a medical history, perform a physical exam and discuss the procedure relevant in detail. You will also be given a quote for surgery.
Yes, more than one consultation is recommended prior to undertaking plastic surgery. This enables you to go through procedure information, risks, and to ask any questions that may come up after the initial consultation.
